Time required : 20 minutes
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 loaf of garlic bread
1 1/2 cup boiled tender corn(avoid American corn)
1 cup chopped onion
5-7 green chillies, finely chopped
3-4 tsp tomato-chilli sauce
2 tbsp butter
salt to taste
For the cheesy white sauce:
1 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour(all purpose flour)
5 cheese cubes(grated)
For the garnish:
1 cheese cube
oregano seasoning or chopped fresh coriander
Heat the oil in a pan. saute the onion, corn and chillies for three to four minutes. Set aside.
To prepare the sauce:
Heat the butter in a pan, add the flour and roast for two minutes.
Add the milk and keep stirring until thick. Add the cheese. Mix well and add the sauteed corn,onions and chillies to it. Mix thoroughly.Add salt as per taste.
Cut the garlic bread into slices. Apply more butter on both sides.Spread some tomato chilli sauce followed by the corn and white sauce mixture. Top with some grated cheese and bake in the oven till the cheese turns golden brown. Sprinkle over some oregano or chopped coriander. Serve hot..
